In my style book there are two items that will never go out of style even when robots take over the world…….. the ankle length pants and the woolen round neck sweater.
So you can imagine to what levels a combi’ of both takes me.

Accessories never get the hype they deserve… Is it because they are too small to notice?, maybe….
The charmed jewelry speaks volumes about an individual. I, love my bracelets chunky….. I love them too much that nothing in the market seems to get me, and so I have resulted into making my own .

Taylor Swift in Atelier Versace. The crop top and high waist high slit skirt were not so much a show stopper, but the color combo is what brought the outfit to life. Orange and Fuchsia, I will definitely be trying that combo out.
Kaley Cuoco in Naeem Khan jumpsuit. There is just something about white outfits. The more you look into Kaley’s outfit the more you fall in love with it. I like the detail in the outfit and the fact that it is revealing without revealing much.
Florence Welch. I love the outfit just because Florence is wearing it. This is so her. Twu’d have been a total drab if it was someone else.
Keltie Knight in Calvin Klein. This is both appropriate and elegant. Well sewed, she toned down on the accessories and make up. Love it.
2. The Disappointments
Ciara in Alexandre Vauthier. We did not for a second doubt that Ciara had a great bod. The outfit looks like a wrap around with knots, not flattering at all. looks like a dress I would make without a hustle and I do not know the first thing about making dresses. I am more than disappointed because she was in my 2015 fave list.
Andra Day in Michael Costello. How could a designer put his name on this. I know she designed it herself, but Costello seriously you let this be associated with you!!!
Liz Hernandez in (I didn’t even care enough to get the designer’s name) . The height is unflattering for this particular dress. The us of satin does not do it justice either and the pleats look like they were not well thought of and make the dress look ill fitting.
Carrie Underwood in Nicolas Jebran. The sad part about this dress is that a lot of detail was put on the bust area and that made the dress fail. I do not mind the bottom part at all. Won’t blame her though for trying to remind us that she has boobs.
The WTF’s
Manika, Manika, Manika wtf!
Dencia. There is something about this outfit that makes me weirdly happy.
Z LaLa. This dress looks quite hazardous! Hope you made it home okay!
4. I see what you were going for but…..just leave it to the gurus
Demi Lovato in Norisol Ferrari
Zendaya in Dsquared2
Suits are the hardest to pull off especially on a red carpet event. Zendaya and Demi are not cut out for this look.
5. We had a Kiki before the event and we decided on this look
Bella Hadid in Alexandre Vauthier
Alessandra Ambrosio in Versace
Anna-Kendrick in Emanuel Ungaro
Yeah, well it did not pay off for any of you!
Fashion Week, when a designer can dream beyond…and as much as most of the clothes that walk down the runway cannot be put down to the streets, it is always amazing to see how far our designer’s minds go.
Check out some of the looks that got to me and I think stealing some of the ideas will be quite rewarding
2. Prints gone wild
3. The not so subtle white
4. The we get along just fine prints and color
5. Just a dash of pink
6. The Comebacks
Valentine Cliches 🙂 🙂 🙂
The argument that everyday should be a day to celebrate love doesn’t suffice. I do think that we need a special to put everything else aside and celebrate mankind’s greatest weakness….Love!
…but do you have to have a night out to celebrate love!….and are cliches so bad?
Celebrate Love the best way you know how to. Express your kind of love with your style
Who doesn’t feel like celebrating love all cute!
That comfy kind of love
That kind of love that we feel but do not have to shout about!
That kind of love that we want to shout about!
The Dreamy kind of love
The old classy kind of love
The free kind of love
The daring kind of love
The no one else understands but us… kind of love
The crazy kind of love!
The pure kind of love!
Whatever you do do not forget your red lip!
Mucho love from yours truly (who is into ‘geeky’ kind of love)
whoop! whoop!
The easiest socks to wear are black or dull colored knee high socks. For a first timer I would suggest a run with them, just for a feel.
They are more like boots (although more classy than boots if you ask me) and given that they are black you can simply pair them up with just about anything…
The shorts and round toe heels
The long boots, the pantyhose all in one
A little floral dress and leather flat shoes
The A-Line dress and short boots
The comfy style
Anything short works…
The pointed heels
The strappy heels
And the sneakers too
Basic rule, Go short, long outfits and socks are a faux pas although there are ways to wear them with pants, I will be posting on that soon.
Socks pundits I will be posting on the real socks style.
Till then have a go dearies!!!
So today I looked in my closet and suddenly felt inspired by my floral shirt that I am always careful to wear. I mean you know those things that are either too beautiful or just too ugly for anyone to even fathom. I like those kind of things, middle ground has never been my place.
Check out how you can style a floral shirt!
Go all vintage. Oh my! Don’t I just love this look.
This is not a look for the faint-hearted. Pair it up with a print – gingham, stripes, floral but be careful….you do not want to look ridiculous, as I said you have to have guts to try this look but know when it pays off, it really pays off.
See that floral on floral, Ensure that both florals are not too heavy because then it becomes too much.
Floral on print floral. That is what I call a bold move. This is what I mean by paying off!
t
The Denim! Hmmmm Of course if those booty shorts work for you, go for it. Denim can go with just about any floral print.
See what I mean…
You can never go wrong with white, never!
Match y march y. A safe option I am not the biggest fan of match y stuff but this works for one who is not sure of how to work the print.
Floral on Black…. You can always pair it with a dark plain color….you know the browns the blacks, the navys, or the neutrals
See its not that difficult……I hope you will not steer away from the floral vintage section next time you are out shopping for your wardrobe.
Now I wore this to the office about two months ago (photo 1) …took a photo and instagrammed it and my kid brother could not hold is comments (like always), he was like a girl wearing stockings is a totally confused person because it’s like she decided to be hot then decided against it a minute later….not pretty at all……. and it got me thinking, pantyhose! are they as sexy as we think.
(Pardon the quality of my photo, took it with a phone, but I am working hard to acquire the Canon EOS 700D…who am I kidding, I’ll probably have to sell my brother to get that…)
Look at the subsequent photos and judge for yourself!
1. I can not bring myself to wear this again.
(…but just in case I will be posting a photo of my brother soon in the case any o’ you is interested in helping a sister out!)
2. These 3 outfits support the point I am trying to make.
3. Now these three kinda contradict my point…pretty stuff huh!
But we all have to agree that the darker the pantyhose the worse it is and the longer your outfit the weirder you look.
