Street photography is an exercise and experiment on how people react to something they aren’t used to. Each encounter is unique in its own way. It’s about seeing shapes and lines, going out of your comfort zone, finding the beauty in imperfection and capturing spontaneous moments. It is equal parts challenging and exhilarating. It is my favorite genre in the world of photography. It’s about being courageous and a little bit crazy. It’s about human connection. I find my images are a reflection of myself. I look for others like me, other people with slight imperfections, a unique look, a cool t-shirt or hairstyle, an odd juxtaposition or an interesting expression. Street Photography is about capturing the diversity of the human race. And I love it.

KhakiFied Jungle
Perquisites of being black!
One thing we can’t argue about is the African hair. There are a million things we can subject our hair to without loosing it or looking weird.
That full, kinky, strong hair is nothing but a blessing
What other type of hair can accommodate such creativity?
You have to be black to pull some styles!
If you have Caucasian hair please leave braiding and locks for your darker counterparts
Did I say blacks can get away with anything when it comes to hair. Yeah we can even pull white people hair…Thank you hair factory!
Short, Colored… the list is endless
Let’s give nature credit where it’s due
That perfect blazer :-)
MET Gala 2015: Best Dressed
Now I didn’t have many great picks from the Gala….but i appreciate the few who did the theme justice
1. I thought that this was the most creative piece. Miley did do the theme justice. The fitted black gown with large cutouts revealed her hips and stomach and a little bit of pelvic bone. The dress, which was studded all over, also featured a high collar and long sleeves. She kept her makeup to a minimum and maintained a slicked down icy blue-grey hair ‘do. It was simple, creative and sexy too.
2. A work of art, this dress is. It is like a flower that just bloomed for the world to see or a freshly opened creature from the sea peeping through, however you choose to look at it that is what MET Gala is all about. The dress is straight from the runway, featured in the Giles Autumn/Winter 2015 collection although Solange did make some slight changes to the dress.
3….and the award for the most daring and the best costume goes to badgirlRiRi. Now this is her kind of event. The use of a chinese couture designer definitely paid off. !!!Costume party!!!
MET Gala 2015: Obvious looks
MET Gala, huh! Is there an occasion that would speak more to a fashion lover….I don’t think so. MET Gala is the place for expressing one self through one’s outfit.
So the 2015 theme was “China: Through the Looking Glass” and so I expected the less creative individuals to actually take the literal meaning & that sheer would grace the red carpet and boy was I right. The pieces were okay but creativity was not a factor considered… sheer was too obvious.
However my favorite dress among these was Kim Kardashian’s The fitting, the stitching, the details….it was appropriate and it was clear that she was out to impress
Accordion: Old is Gold
So my Mum told me to get rid of all the outfits that I haven’t worn for a while. Being the good and very obedient daughter I am, I sat down to sort out my ‘giveaways’ and being the human I am, I started fitting them and by the time I was done, I had nothing to give out because I became aware then…of the stuff in my closet and yes….that was so selfish of me I know.
Anyway, so I saw this green accordion skirt that is like 5 years old…yeah I said 5 years….and I tried it out and I think I could work it out!
Anyway see other ways you could work your accordion skirt
Good day loves!
